Subject: About the 14th Thailand International Boat Race 2001

Dear Lynn F. Lee

According to your e-mail, I would like to thank you for your interest in our event : The 14th Thailand International Boat Race 2001.

To reply to your question,

  1. For the international Boat Races 22 paddlers, this year we have only men's team.
  2. For the categories of the 14th Thailand International Boat Race, we have
    • International Men's Team 22 paddlers
    • Thai Men's Team 22 paddlers
    • Thai Men's Team 55 paddlers
I think it's not like Taiwan's race ( I went there too!) because we have no open category.
  3. Thai boat race has no drummer and flag-catcher. For each race, there are 20 paddlers, 1 steerperson and 1 signalperson. ( I attach the regulations of this race to your for your perusal. Please find attachment )
  4. The organizing committee has no reserve steerperson. Anyway, if it's your need , please tell me in advance. I can report to the organizing committee. But you have to pay for him ( reserve steerperson)
  5. I attach the application form for you to fill in already. The deadline is 30 August 2001. There is no registration fee for this race.
  6. I would like to inform you that this year we have no accommodation which provides for the international team like the previous year. Because this year, we have a cash-prize for international team instead.
  7. For the official website, the information is same as a stuff I attach to you.

We hope to see you in November.

Best Regards,
Siwaporn Subharattanadilok
