Chinese language classes at the MTC are open to individuals who possess at least a high school diploma or its equivalent. Applicants should have a good academic record and exhibit a sincere interest in learning Chinese.

Due to the large number of applications each quarter and to allow enough time for newly admitted students to receive a visa, prospective students are encouraged to submit their application materials as early as possible. All application materials must be received on or before the application deadline and cannot be return or copied once submitted.

The MTC operates on a quarter basis, with new classes at all levels of instruction offered at the beginning of each period of study. A two-month Summer Session is also offered. Applications will only be accepted for the listed periods of study.
