MTC Signature Summer Program

This is an intensive program designed for highly-motivated students to advance their Chinese proficiency in a completely immersive learning environment. The program includes 4 hours of language class through Monday to Thursday and various types of activities such as field trips, cultural experiences, language partner interaction, and company visits. All the courses and activities are conducted in Chinese, and the program requires students to be proactive and take the initiative to participate in all activities. All the details of the program design are devoted to reinforcing your Chinese language skills and cultivating cultural competence.

*All tuition fees are charged in New Taiwan Dollars (TWD) by credit card.

Early Bird Waiver-
Applicants who make the tuition payment before April 2 DO NOT need to pay the registration fee.

Important Notes

The fee includes language classes, textbooks, handouts, cultural activities, company visits, service fee of NTNU fitness center, access fee of NTNU library, and accident insurance.
The fee excludes international airfare, housing, daily meals, and the costs (meals, tickets, and transportation) of Chinese Table Activity and Language Partner interaction.
The costs (meals, tickets and transportation) of Chinese Table Activity and Language Partner Activity are not included in tuition. Students are expected to prepare at least 200USD for Language Partner interaction and Chinese Table Activity.
Living costs (including rent) in Taipei are about 700USD to 1,072USD per month. The rents for individual rooms in Taipei are around 300USD to 720USD per month. Rent cost excluded, students are expected to prepare approximately 450USD a month for living costs such as daily meals (the average cost of a meal may range from 6USD to 20USD), transportation, and other personal expenses.
If the program is canceled due to low enrollment or other uncontrollable factors, MTC will notify the participants via email and/or website announcement and refund the whole tuition and registration fees to the participants.
